9th Annual adidas
Las Vegas Big Time Tournament
July 22, 23, 24, 25 & 26, 2002
Las Vegas, Nevada
400 Teams, 5,000+ athletes
NCAA Certified Event

The guys at the Big Time media office churned out a lot of useful stuff during the tournament:  Team records in pool play, daily schedules, tournament leaders in various categories, and the ever helpful brackets, letting us know who was playing whom and where and when.  Really good stuff.   For a tournament that started off with just 64 teams in 1995, and ballooned up to 344 for the last two years, this thing has just gotten huge... And somebody has to do all the counting, right?  We're not sure who is doing all this counting, but when we got this set of stats (below) we finally realized that someone had far too much time on their hands during this event....We want to thank the person who put this info together, because now we have finally gotten confirmation that there is someone out there more obsessed than we are with all of this....So, if any of you out there are thinking of putting on your own "Big Time" tournament, this is what you'll need:
