Mayfair Record: 20-3, 10-0. SCIBCA/CIF Poll agrees: No. 1.  Beat Bellflower on Friday for the second time. Josh Childress and Edwin Draugan lead team and division, although Muir is knocking and Ocean View could challenge. One game remaining hosting Cerritos on Tuesday, 2/6. Then it's on with the playoffs.
Muir Record: 22-2, 8-0. SCIBCA/CIF Poll also agrees. No. 2. Beat Glendale for the second time on Friday night. Joe Frazier is the key to the offense.  Two more games: Next Up--hosting Crescenta Valley on Tuesday, 2/6, then hosting Pasadena on Thursday 2/8.

Redondo Record: 19-5, 11-1.  A very tough loss to Inglewood at the Dream Classic has been followed by 6 straight wins. May win the league title again, last two games against Inglewood which is now in first on 2/6 @ Inglewood, and on 2/8 @ Santa Monica.
Charter Oak Record: 19-5, 6-2. SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 8   Beat Hacienda Heights Wilson decisively on Friday night. Miramonte League title looking good. David Boler, Todd Hurst and Jason Grissom lead. Up next: @ Pomona 1/23.
Artesia Record: 19-5, 9-1.  SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 5.  How unlikely was it that this team would challenge for a league title after the events of this past year?  They won't win the league (Mayfair will) but they will challenge the division in playoffs. Ryan Reyes went down on Friday with an ankle injury; will he return in time for the playoffs? Next up: Hosting Mayfair on 2/5 (Monday) and then closing out the regular league season on Friday 2/9 @ Bellflower.
Bishop Amat Record: 18-7, 3-4. SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 7.   Lost their last two straight to St. Bernard and St. Paul. Next game also likely to be a loss @ Bishop Montgomery on 2/7 to end league season.

Palm Desert Record:16-7, 6-4.  SCIBCA/CIF Poll: "Others". Josh Zazulia and Dionte Harris have helped lead Palm Desert. Won't get the DVL title, but will make some noise in the playoffs.  Next Up: hosting Cathedral City on Tuesday, 2/6, then hosting La Quinta on 2/8.  Look for a third place finish at best with the No. 1 team and then the No. 2 teams this week.
Diamond Ranch Record: 14-9, 5-2   SCIBCA/CIF Poll: "Others" Beat HH Wilson on Friday night. Daniel Knott leads. Up next: hosting Garey on 2/6 then @ Los Altos on 2/8

Rosemead Record:14-10, 5-3.  SCIBCA/CIF Poll Not Ranked.  In Mission Valley League lost to El Monhte on Friday night, and probably looking at third in league.  Richard Van Zandt and Mario Cobian lead.  Up Next: Hosting Gabrielino (2/7) and MOuntain View (2/9). .
Magnolia Record: 13-11, 5-3. SCIBCA/CIF Poll: "Others".  Lost to Valencia (Placentia) in a ridiculously low scoring game. Geoffrey Clayton and Isaiah Bryant have been the mainstays offensively. Next Up: Hosting Savanna on 2/7,then @ Anaheim on 2/9 to close out the league season.

Compton Record: 11-13.  SCIBCA/CIF Poll:   "Others".  Lost to Poly on Friday and then lost to Lynwood on Saturday. @ Wilson on 2/7, then hosting Lakewood on 2/9.
Atascadero Record: 10-11, 2-6.  SCIBCA/CIF Poll: Not ranked.  They've been slipping since we first ranked the team, but we still like them. Travis Nelson, Riley Prickett and Jordan Leiser have been the main offensive weapons  Next up: Hosting St. Joseph Santa Maria on 2/7, then hosting Cabrillo (Lompoc) on 2/9.
Servite Record: 9-14, 1-3. Started out strong, and then faltered. Sebastian Zeilonka and Billy Burfeind have been solid performers but will need a more consistent effort to avoid missing the playoffs.  Oh, and to those who would criticize us for picking Servite for No. 20, find us a team with a better record from the list below. We don't know of one we missed, but we're open to suggestions.
