1 Mater Dei Record: 19-2, 3-0.  Beat St. John Bosco by 43 on Friday, 87-44.  Beat Mayfair convincingly in the Dream Classic. Cedric Bozeman (UCLA), Jamal Sampson (Cal), Ricky Porter, Brian Baker, Shaun Michel, Mike Strawberry, and Harrison Schaen are just a few of the weapons for the Monarchs. Only Westchester may be deeper, Clovis West more disciplined. Next up: Concord De La Salle @ Nike Extravaganza on Saturday @ The Pyramid, Long Beach State.
2 Corona Centennial Record: 17-2, 4-0.  Mountain View League title is almost certain. Won Torrey Pines National Prep Championships, National Division, but lost to Bishop Montgomery in the Dream Classic. New Mexico signee Jamal Williams leads.  Next up: @ Corona on 1/23. 
3 Villa Park Record: 17-3.  Even without Martin Iti, the Spartans are still one of the top teams with Matt McGinnis, Corey Miller, Kyle Egkan, Sean Phaler, Eric Tadeja, Brice Prather.  Next up: @ El Modena on 1/26.
4 Claremont Record:   16-5, 4-1.   Shaddean Aaron, Ian Maxwell, Shane O'Connor lead this Baseline League contender, vying for second with Glendora.  Next up: @ Glendora on 1/26. 
5 SB Pacific Record: 12-5, 3-1.  Pacific beat Yucaipa (0-4) by 34 points (96-62) on Friday in a San Andreas League game and is poised to challenge for a title. Donnell Jury leads the way, and he got his 5th triple-double on Friday. Chris Adams is playing well. Next game: @ Colton 1/23.  
6 Simi Valley Record: 15-6, 4-3.  Beat Royal last week but lost two this week in Marmonte League, first to Agoura, then T.O. Dustin Villepigue leads. Next up: Moorpark @ Simi 1/24. 
7 El Dorado Record:   17-3, 3-1.  Suffered their first loss in Empire League play to Loara (15-5, 4-0) last Friday.  David Patten, Nick Lehnert, Mike Wulff, Evan Bull and Kyle Miller lead.  Next up: @ Katella 1/24. 
8 Woodbridge Record: 16-4, 2-0.  Beat Villa Park 59-52 on Saturday in a non-league game. Beat Newport Harbor last Wednesday in a Sea View League game and are vying for the title. Dan Lambert, Doeg Koeller, Tashaan Forehan-Kelly, Aaron Szekel and Pat Haddan lead. Up next: Laguna Hills @ Woodbridge on 1/26. 
9 Saugus Record: 13-2, 4-0.  Saugus is atop the Foothill League, beating Valencia last Friday. Krogh and Holmquist spark the team. Next up: @ Hart 1/23.
10 Newport Harbor Record: 16-4, 2-1.  Lost in Sea View League to Woodbridge last Wednesday, idle until 1/24.  Next Game: Aliso Niguel @ Newport Harbor. Tony Melum and Aaron Yarnal are leading scorers.
11 St. John Bosco Record: 15-5, 1-2.  Lost to Mater Dei in Serra League play on Friday 87-44. Giovanni St. Amant leads. Next up: Westminster @ SJB on 1/23. 
12 Temescal Canyon Record: 16-6, 3-0.  Kris Maxey, Daniel Zarbock and Joe Roberson lead Temescal Canyon and they are in contention for a Southwestern League title.  Next up: Temecula Valley @ Temescal Canyon 1/24. .
13 Arlington Record: 14-6, 1-2.  Beat Riverside Poly last week in a battle for the Ivy League.   Bakari Heru, Rafael Simon, Rashawn McAllister, Logan Willman, Richard Glover, Adam Aguirre, Kenyaun Christie,  Chad Carter and Charles Tangert are the players. Next Up: JW North @ Arlington on 1/23. 
14 Damien Record:    13-8, 2-2.  Sierra League comp has been brutal. Beat West Covina on Wednesday, then lost to Ayala on Friday by 10, 54-44.  Ralph David,  Raul Potain, and Aaron Garcia lead. There's still time, but it's running out for a league title. Next: Diamond Bar (4-0 in league) @ Damien 1/24.
15 Ventura Record: 13-9, 3-1. Big non-league win over Hueneme by 21 points on Friday;  huge win over Santa Barbara in Channel League play on Wednesday. Bryan Easterly leading the way with Tyler Ebell back from football. Next: Buena @ Ventura 1/26.

Record:   10-6, 3-1.  Jason Zimmer leads this team this season in Sunbelt League play.   Next game: 1/24 vs. West Valley @  Perris. 
17 Mira Costa Record: 10-8, 2-4. Chase Wixom, Jake Insler, DeWayne Morris, Archie Wiley and Blake Anderson lead. League title looks unlikely, but could make noise in section playoffs. Next up: Morningside @ Mira Costa 1/24.
18 Canyon Anaheim Record: 12-10, 4-1 .  Beat Santa Ana Valley 92-53 on Friday, and its a two way race with Villa Park.  Love to shoot threes. Beaten some good teams (LB Poly), lost big to others (Mater Dei). Wes Putnam Chris Roberson, and Matt Barranick lead.  Next up: Foothill @ Canyon 1/26. 
19 Troy Record:  12-10, 2-2.   Lost to Fullerton in a Freeway League game on Friday 58-51.  Trent Hardeman, Travis Hardeman, Nate Gilkes lead.  Next up: Sunny Hills @ Troy 1/22.
20T Riverside Poly Record:   9-10, 0-4. Josh Dunaj, Joe Salazar, Jeremy Lopez , Sali Vance, Ronny Tyson, and rumors of a new transfer abound. Could be a top 20 team, or might not.  Right now from what we hear, they are.
20T Foothill Record:  10-11, 2-2.   Lost to Villa Park on Friday.  Chad Bigler leads.  Next up: @ Canyon Anaheim 1/26.

Record: 8-11, 0-4.  Losing more than they're winning in Orange League. Need to win any 3 of last 6 to qualify for playoffs. Lost to Brea Olinda 91-43 on Friday.  Quinn Hawking still scoring big, but he's the only one. Next: @ Western 1/24.
