1 Upland Record: 20-1.  Became the first team in California this season to reach 20 wins with convincing victory over Ocean View. Very tough squad, Nevada-Reno-signee Kirk Snyder, Sheldon Pace, Prentice Harris, Lionel Davis, Jesse Pruitt, and Jason Harris lead. Up next. Hosting Walnut on 1/23, then @ Walnut on 1/26.
2 Oxnard Record: 18-3, 3-0.  Beat Rio Mesa decisively on Friday. Top D-I prospect Nicholas Curtis leads the team. Next up: Hueneme @ Oxnard in a Pacific View League game on 1/26.
3 Arroyo Grande Record: 19-2, 5-0;  Arroyo Grande beat Lompoc on Wednesday and then beat Santa Maria to remain unbeaten in the Northern League. Phillip Johnson and Ryan Zimmerman make this a very tall team. Up next: @ Righetti 1/24. 
4 Capistrano Valley Record: 17-2, 4-0.  Likely to win the South Coast League title, Cap Valley beat Dana Hills on Friday by 30, 80-50. Jeff Golger and Matt Sweany lead a deep team. Up next; @ San Clemente on 1/24.
5 Long Beach Poly Record: 14-5, 6-0.  Idle this past week following a win over Long Beach Jordan at the Pump MLK Hoop Challenge.  Up next: @ Long Beach Wilson on 1/22 in a Moore League game.  
6 Jordan Record: 15-8, 5-1.  The Panthers will seriously challenge LB Poly for a Moore League title. Poly got the first round, last game on 2/9 will decide.  Up next: Compton @ Jordan on 1/22.
7 Eisenhower Record: 15-4, 4-0.  Beat CBL league rival Rialto on Friday. Johnny Dukes and Alex Acker lead.   Hosting Fontana next on 1/23.
8 Ayala Record: 14-4, 2-1. Dontaa Donald,  Ken Quinn, Kyle Gregory and Danny Stephens get it done.   Up next: @ Rowland 1/24.
9 AB Miller 14-6, 2-2.  Lost in a stunner to Redlands (11-8 overall) on Friday.  Go figure. Up next: Rialto @ Miller on 1/23. 
10 Canyon Springs 13-6, 3-0. ing, but have yet to gel.  Arizona State-signee Jason Braxton, soph Richard Cobbs, Howard and Royal Tayloar and Marcus Carver make up a talented squad.
11 Fontana Record: 13-6, 4-0.  Citrus Belt League wins this last week over Redlands and REV as well as over Ayala at the Dream Classic. Trayvon Williams leads. Up next: League title battle with Eisenhower on Tuesday 1/23. 
12 Peninsula Record: 13-7, 4-3.  Bay League contender led by Kevin Gardner and Andrew Yim along with Austin Cinnamond. Beat Santa Monica on Saturday night.  Up next: Redondo @ Peninsula on 1/24.
13 Ontario Record: 12-5,  3-0. Beat Mt. Baldy rival Etiwanda on Friday.  Cameron Munoz has been a consistent scorer lately. Up next: @ Chaffey on 21/26.
14 Los Alamitos Record: 11-7, 4-0.  Los Al has had 4 straight league wins, the last over Esperanza 54-46 on Friday. Led by Brian Rakusin in scoring lately. Up next: Huntington Beach @ Los Al on 1/24.

Record: 13-8, 2-2.  San Gabriel Valley win on Friday over Downey 53-49.  Charles Booth, Odell Rosby and Ernest Sandoval lead. Up next: @ Lynwood on 1/24.
16 LB Millikan Record: 13-8, 2-4.  Beat Cabrillo on Friday 59-51 as Rodney Spencer and Dominic Freeman lead with Marcus Dove.  Up next: Lakewood @ Millikan on 1/22. 
17 Fountain Valley Record: 13-8, 3-1.  Sunset League win on Friday over Ediston in triple overtime. Forward Matt Ball and guard Tucker Fendon lead.  Next up: @ Marina on 1/24.
18 Downey Record: 11-9, 2-2.  Lost two in a row, to Dominguez on Wednesday and then to Paramount on Friday. Steve Topete and Aaron Perez continue to lead. Up next: @ Warren on 1/24.
19 Leuzinger Record: 11-9, 3-4.  Beat Morningside in a Bay League game on Friday night. Derrick Clark continues to lead the team ason enough to rank the team, but they have not been performing overall as expected. Will need to pick up some wins soon in order to rise back to their prior spot.

Record: 12-8, 1-3 Lost to Hoover, which was surprising, but then lost to Pasadena also which wasn't. Up next: Crescenta Valley @ Arcadia on 1/23.  
20T Lakewoood Record: 10-10, 2-4.  Last win on Friday over Compton 72-65.  Robert Hicks and Armand Ivory continue to lead. Up next: 1/22 @ Millikan.
