Division IV Boys Basketball
Top 10 Polls For This Week--(Jan. 25, 2000)

Below is the latest CIF Southern Section's official top 10 poll for Division IV.  In Division IV-A the poll is identical to last week.  In IV-AA, St. Paul made the biggest jump, moving up to No. 3 in the rankings after knocking off Bishop Montgomery last week. Crespi has dropped out of the top 10 and is now an "other" team receiving votes. Oak Park has jumped back into the top 10 after falling out for one week.

The poll is compiled by the SCIBCA (Southern California Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association).  Basically each division is composed of a committee consisting of a number of coaches who review standings, strength of schedule, results and the like. Committee members submit their respective votes and these are compiled and tabulated and the result is what you see below. Polls will be issued weekly by the CIF Southern Section office.  This should also be posted up on the Southern Section website either this evening or by tomorrow at the latest.
