SoCal Basketball Classic:
Two Games On TV Today--(Jan. 30, 2000)

Some of our readers have asked us why we haven't posted all the scores yet. . . well, we'll post the ones we have, but as for the Dominguez v. Roman Catholic game. . .we missed it.  Due to a family medical emergency in the afternoon, and a prior family commitment in the evening, we couldn't be there yesterday. . . . there are very few things that will keep us away from an event of this type, but a medical emergency is one of those. . . Sorry.   But we were pretty certain that someone would have posted the final score of the Dominguez game by now on the message board, but no dice. . . The game also ended late, so it didn't make the Long Beach Press Telegram either this morning, and it's too early for us to start calling around bothering people who may have been up late last night. . . So we'll have to wait just like the rest of you. . . We do know that Dominguez won by about 17 points, but we just don't know the final score. . . yet.

The good news is that both the Dominguez v. Roman Catholic game and the Artesia v. Washington Union game will be televised this afternoon  and then again tonight on tape delay on Fox Sports West 2.

For those who couldn't make it down to Lynwood, the Artesia v. Washington Union game will be shown at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon on FSW2, and then again at 10:00 p.m. tonight.

The Dominguez v. Roman Catholic game will be shown at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, and then again at 11:30 p.m. also on FSW2.

And if you haven't had enough high school hoops and are looking for more highlights, be sure to check out the LA Times High School 'Prep Show' at 12:30 p.m. today on Channel 9 KCAL.
