UCLA Signee Dijon Thompson Will Play In
"Charm City Challenge" All-Star Game--(Apr. 27, 2000)

UCLA-signee Dijon Thompson (6'-7" Sr. F/G) will play tomorrow night in Maryland on the U.S. All-Stars team which will take on the best players from the Baltimore area in the "Charm City Challenge" which will be played at Towson Center on Saturday night.  That game, which will feature some of the top players in the country, will be preceded by two underclassmen games, featuring some of the best select travel teams in the Baltimore region.

Dijon is also slated to play in the 5th Annual Coca-Cola All-American All-Star game, which has now been rescheduled for June 3, at Las Vegas Durango HS.  Under NCAA rules, a graduating senior who will play D-I ball can only participate in two such all-star events.  The Charm City will be the first such event for Dijon, who was nominated for, but didn't get the nod to play in, the McDonald's All-American game.
