We just received the list of participants in the two RSL
final games for 2001 (at least for the spring). We've alphabetized them to make it
easier to find the names of players you might want to be sure to watch for (the Fishies
sent it to us originally organized by height, but we figure the really tall guys are easy
to spot anyway. . . ). The participants will be divided up into teams
and we're certain that you'll see some top notch basketball if you make the trip.
It's an "Open" viewing/contact period, so there will be lots of coaches
too. You may notice that there are actually 25 players in the first game. Last
we heard, Tony Melum, who injured his ACL a few weeks ago was still injured and we haven't
seen him at the league lately, so it's possible that he may not be playing.
Otherwise, we'd expect to see everyone there, banging and having a lot of fun.
