4th Annual Fullcourt Press All-West
Camp Recap--(July 17, 2001)

Unfortunately, with travel and commitments to watch several players at the adidas Double Pump Camp, we were unable to make it over to the Fullcourt Press camp at Lynwood HS, but we heard some really good things about the talent at the camp this year, bigger and deeper than ever before.  We spoke with Dinos last night, and he gave us a full rundown, as well as discussing with us some of his views on the recent NCAA changes which appear to be in the works for the upcoming fall recruiting calendar, and if you know Dinos, then you know he's got some strong views on the subject. . . as do we, and this time we're in complete agreement that the NCAA is taking the wrong tack.....but that's a different subject, one we will be writing about shortly.  In the meantime, here's the report which Dinos sent us last night recapping the 4th Annual Fullcourt Press All-West Camp:

Again Best in the West

The 2001 Fullcourt Press All-West Camp (formerly the Rim Rattler All-West Camp) concluded its 4th annual 3-day affair with a trio of all-star games on Friday night July 13th. This year’s camp attracted a record 300-plus campers from all over the West including California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Colorado, Utah, Texas, Mississippi, Massachusetts and New Jersey as well as 200-plus college coaches, scouts and media.
