We previously posted the pools and pool play schedule for the 2002 version of the annual summer "War on the Floor" and if you want to see them, just check yesterdays' story on the tournament. In that story we noted that we didn't have the bracket schedule, so we couldn't pass along the details about where and when the finals would be. Now we have the info. Here it is (thanks to Bort Escoto for passing it along):

Pool play will eventually sort itself out into three brackets, each with 8 teams, which will work out very nicely since there are an even 24 teams in the tournament competing in six pools. Of course seeding will work out kind of funny, because not every second place team will make the "Gold" bracket, but like past Wars on the Floor, this one will have a complicated points-total-differential-margin-of-victory formula...no doubt.

Anyway, there will be three brackets of single elimination play, a "Gold" (for first place teams and two second place teams out of pool play), a "Silver" bracket, which will undoubtedly feature the remaining four second place teams and two third place teams), and a "Bronze" bracket, which will have everyone else left standing out of pool play.

The Gold Championship will be played at Taft HS on Tuesday, June 25, at 8:30 p.m.
The Silver Championship will be played at Taft HS on Tuesday, June 25, at 5:40 p.m.
The Bronze Championship will be played at Taft HS on Tuesday, June 25, at 4:20 p.m.

None of the bracket play games will be at Pierce JC (only pool play games will be at Pierce).

Only first round Silver bracket games will be played at Canoga Park HS (gym entrance is located just off Topanga Canyon Blvd, just north of Vanowen). The remaining Silver games will be played at Taft.

And in the Bronze bracket, two of the first round games (11:00 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. on Monday) will be at Canoga Park HS; all other games will be played at Taft HS.
