We received an e-mail the other day, informing us about what sounds like an interesting coaching clinic coming up early next month which will be held in Bakersfield.  "Beyond Limit Athletes" and it's directors, Milt Henderson and George Nessman,  will be running the event, and according to the brochure we received,  the clinic is "designed to balance lecture type instruction with demonstration and hands on activities." Clinic instructors will address offensive and defensive systems, motivation techniques, conditioning, individual skills, and NCAA eligibility requirements. This clinic will be the first of a two-part series with the second session to be held later, during Spring 2003.  The price for registration for the first two-day session is $50 for individual coaches who attend, or a flat-fee of $80 for a staff of up to four coaches (maximum), which is pretty reasonable.  Lunch will be $7.00 and anyone registering prior to Monday, September 16, 2002 gets a 10% discount.  Tghe organizers recommend that you make reservations for a hotel in advance...evidently they're expecting a rush on rooms in Bakersfield in early October....
