Los Angeles/ Long Beach, CA: YSA/Sixers Summer Jam
When:

Los Angeles, CA: ARC Instructional Academy Spring Session
When: Continuing through June 6 Saturday--North Hollywood H.S. 9 A.M.; Olive Recreation Center (Burbank) 11 A.M.; Pierce College 1 P.M. Learn the fundamentals from current and former high school coaches. Develop the skills to become a top high school player. Traveling teams will be formed. Any team can enter league competition. ARC division tournament for all teams after completion of league play, plus eventual regional and national tournaments. Former ARC players include NBA Stars: Jason Kidd, Shawn Kemp, Byron Scott, Don MacLean, Trevor Wilson, Tracy Murray, Mitchell Butler, Chris Mills, Sean Higgins, Steve Kerr, Sean Rooks, Tom Hammonds, Dwayne Schintzius, Ronnie Grandison, Darrick Martin, and James Cotton. Long Beach, CA:  Future Prep Classic III
When: June 19 through 20, 1999. Long Beach, CA June 19-20, 1999 - Future Prep Classic III Featuring boys traveling teams; ages 10/u, 11/u, & 12/u. Some of the top traveling teams in the So. San Gabriel Valley, CA: San Gabriel Valley Matadors Summer Boys Varsity Tournament
When: June 25 through 27, 1999. Where: San Gabriel Valley High School. Entry fee $170.00 (reduced fee of $280 for this tournament and the July 9-11 JV Tournament). for Boys tournament for varsity and jv teams.   Guaranteed 4 games, plus summer league rules (6 fouls, 3 min overtime, running clock only last minute stop clock, CIF Officials). Las Vegas, NV: ARC 9's National Championship Tournament
When: June 25 through 27, 1999. Las Vegas will be the site of the first ever 9's National Championship Tournament, June 25 - 27, 1999. This tournament has been a long time coming as more and more outstanding young players have begun to play at an earlier age, and many more 9 and under/3rd grade teams have formed around the country. Age is based on 9-1-99, but players who turn ten after 9-2-98 and are in the 3rd grade are still eligible. This age group marks the start of the traveling team circuit. Minneapolis, Minn: Second Annual 1998 Minnesota Select Boys Summer Tournament
When: Late June 1999 Sites: University of Minnesota Sports Pavilion, Minneapolis Community College, Apple Valley High School. Cost: $400 per team--4 game guarantee. Contact: Larry Ronglien 612-687-0023. TWO DIVISIONS: High school eligible division, boys with high school eligibility remaining. 16 and under division (16 and under teams may play up if they choose).
